Saint Lawrence Seminary Steam Boiler Plant and Steam Piping Distribution System Retrofit – Mount Calvary, WI

Design included: Merging of North and South Boiler Plants and upgrading North Plant with sufficient boiler capacity to serve the entire campus. North Plant upgrade incorporated the installation of a 150-BHP high pressure boiler (40 psig), deaerator, 8,000 gallon underground double wall fiberglass oil storage tank, fuel oil pumping and piping distribution system, conversion of burners on two existing 200-BHP boilers to combination gas/oil burners. Design included the installation of a new 6” diameter steam main and pumped condensate return piping system connecting the North Plant with the South Plant low pressure steam distribution system. Two steam pressure reducing stations were included in the design (2002-2003).
